How do I know what type of session I need?

For portraits, I offer a few different options.

  1. My Basic Session
  2. My Cake Smash Session
  3. My Newborn Session
  4. My Headshot Session

The Basic Portrait Session covers anything like Family, Maternity, Engagement, or Senior. If you have a question about a session that I haven’t listed here then just give me a call for a custom quote!

How do I book a session with you?

Once we decide on a date and time, I will write up your Client Agreement. I will also send you a Paypal Invoice for your non-refundable retainer (this cost will come off the price of your session fee). You will get both of these in an email and you will need to sign the C.A. electronically and email it back, OR print, sign, and scan it back to me. Both of these need to be done before your date and time is reserved.

What should I wear to my session?

The ultimate goal of your session is for you to

  1. Be yourself
  2. Be comfortable
  3. Be happy

I only have a FEW no-nos 🙂

  1. No neon colors
  2. No shirts with writing on the front

And just be aware that fads will change and 10 years from now, you still want to be proud to have these images on your walls.

Do I need to bring anything to my session?

This definitely depends on the type of session you need.

For an outdoor session in the summer, I insist you bring water for everyone, possibly a towel to wipe sweat, and maybe bug spray and sunscreen.

For a kids session, I would bring wipes for their noses, a treat to “entice” them to be good! haha!

If you are wearing heels for pictures, you might want to bring something more comfortable to walk to different shooting spots. Bring a scarf or pretty hat to give some images a different look! You’re also welcome to bring props that we can try to incorporate.

What happens AFTER the session?

After the session, I will cull, edit and re-touch your images. This process can take up to two weeks to complete depending on the session. During this time you can take a look around your home and really think about how you’d like to display your new art work. Think about styles you like and if you want to give any gifts to grandparents too. This will help the Ordering Session be as smooth and fun as possible.

What can I expect at my Ordering Session?

Your ordering will be scheduled for approximately 2 weeks after your session. You will come into my studio and we will have a big REVEAL of all of your images on the big screen! Then I will guide you through the ordering process. I will have beautiful samples to show you of all of your options. Every person that has a say in ordering will need to be at this Ordering Session. If one of the decision makers is NOT available at the scheduled time then the appointment will have to be rescheduled. You should plan on placing your order at this this session.

Do you offer digitals?

How long will it take to receive my gorgeous products?

Depending on the products you order, they usually come in within 1-2 weeks. I will meet you back at the studio or a convenient location to give them to you!
